Hackney Cooperative Development, Dalston

This project centred around community engagement and economic appraisal of our client’s site, situated within a densely populated town centre in East London.

With a significant number of stakeholders and interacting social priorities, redefining Hackney Cooperative Developments (HCD) service across this mixed-use site, was a clear and urgent priority. Our work addressed new business and operational models for this scheme that would see a new approach to the use of its public realm amenities. Supplementary, in line with the sites enhancements, included stakeholder appraisals, programming strategy proposals and Board level workshop sessions. 

The redevelopment includes:  

• Improvement of 23 self-contained office spaces (Class B1 office space)

• Over 658 SqM redevelopment including 10 self-contained test retail spaces (A1/A3/A5)

• Creation of 457 SqM of new B1 workspace 3 Bradbury Street, London N16 8JN (a new floor on the 3rd floor).
